Five Bars you can take your dog to in Seattle - Cold Weather Edition AKA no patios: (The unofficial, not authorized by Health Department, countdown.)
- Norm's, Fremont. You knew this was going to be at the top of the list, right? There is no other place in town that welcomes dogs as whole heartedly and as publicly as Norm's, and for this we thank you. The weekend can be crazy during brunch hours and if you'd like to check out their Thursday night trivia, get there early.
- Beveridge Place Pub, West Seattle. If Norm's is the dog lovers place with beer, then Beveridge Place is the beer lovers place with dogs. They have 25 beers on tap and loads of unique options. They have board games and plenty of room to spread out so enjoy.
- Shorty's/Lava Lounge, Belltown. They're not the same place, but they're close and contain similar clientèle so let's put them together for the hell of it. Both of these places are dark and cheap and great places to get wasted with your pet. I say pet because I have seen many pets here, including but not limited to, a Cockatoo.
- Victory Lounge, Eastlake. Sometimes we miss the Lobo Inn which used to be where Victory currently resides. But when we were allowed to bring the pooch in all alliances quickly shifted to current ownership. The Victory is a great place to watch the game, it has lots of flat screens and good times.
- Jules Maes, Georgetown. You know you love Georgetown. Guess what? Your dog does too. Appease them by going to Georgetown, like, now!
Bonus joints that accept dogs but didn't make the Friday Five: Leny's Greenlake (Sometimes), Funhouse Seattle Center, Canterbury Capitol Hill, The Traveler, Frelard (AKA between Ballard & Fremont).
Please note that these establishments may or may not accept your dog, Circadian Sweets wishes you luck in enjoying some inside time with the pooch and a beverage when it's cold out!
